Mega Health Camp in Maigong Bathou Foraishali Benefits 2035
A mega health camp under the Susrusha Setu initiative was held in Maigong Bathou Foraishali, Maigongpuri, Karigaon, Kokrajhar LAC. The event saw a significant turnout, with 2035 beneficiaries registering for various health services.
The camp offered a wide range of services, including laboratory tests for 211 patients, totaling 5,632 tests. Special screenings were conducted, with dental checks for 21 patients and sputum examinations for 138 samples. TB screening was provided to 1520 individuals, and 235 beneficiaries availed cancer screening services. Additionally, 65 HIV screenings, 32 immunizations, and 71 USG tests were performed during the camp.
The event was attended by notable dignitaries, including MLA Lawrence Islary, BTC EM Derhasat Basumatary, and former Minister Pramila Rani Brahma. They were joined by other dignitaries who supported the initiative. The camp also facilitated Aadhaar updates for 9 individuals and distributed PMJAY cards to 64 beneficiaries. A total of 227 referrals were made for further treatment.
