Medius certified for France’s new digital invoicing compliance system

Medius has officially become a certified participant in France’s decentralised Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC) system. The company received its final approval as an Approved Platform under the country’s electronic invoicing reform on 17 July 2024. This certification allows Medius to support businesses in meeting new compliance rules for digital invoicing and reporting.

The French CTC model separates business transactions from fiscal data flows. This design improves tax oversight while automating key processes. It also aligns with the upcoming European ViDA regulation, which modernises VAT reporting across the EU.

Medius’ certification covers the full range of required services. These include issuing and receiving invoices, handling expense reports, and securely transmitting fiscal data to authorities. The company now assists mid-sized and large businesses in adapting to the reform, which becomes mandatory for all B2B transactions from 1 September 2026.

The certification was granted by France’s Direction Générale des Finances Publiques (DGFiP). Medius joins a select group of platforms authorised to facilitate electronic invoicing and reporting under the new system. Businesses using the Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire (PDP) can now rely on Medius for compliance with the upcoming rules.

With this approval, Medius helps companies transition smoothly to France’s digital invoicing requirements. The platform’s services ensure secure data exchange and compliance with both national and future EU-wide regulations. The certification confirms Medius’ role in supporting businesses through the reform’s rollout.
