Medieval Bozok City Debuts in First Graphic Novel Reveal
Astana witnesses the debut of a new comic book titled "Journey of Alikhan and Aikerim," presented by the Bozok State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve on February 12, according to the Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry's press service.
The comic book, available in Kazakh, Russian, and English, is designed to engage children and adolescents, promoting Kazakh literature through stories rooted in Kazakh heroes, historical events, and mythology.
Rooted in historical archaeological findings from the Bozok medieval settlement's excavations, the plot of this groundbreaking work unfolds across captivating pages.
The accomplished artist behind the illustrations is Beken Zhaparov, a Bozok Museum-Reserve designer noted for his contributions to the project.
