In the current season of "Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben," hosts Joko Winterscheidt (46) and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf (41) have seen their fair share of wins and losses. With one victory under their belt and a streak of three losses, the duo was eager for a victory and the sweet taste of free reign on ProSieben. On May 7, they squared off against their employer once more, with primetime stakes higher than ever.
A Twist in the ProSieben Lineup
Under the guidance of fellow host Steven Gätjen (52), the hosts were given the challenging task of earning advantages for the final round. Unfortunately, due to a penalty from the previous episode, they were transformed into a roaming advertisement for the streaming service Joyn, adorning tracksuits emblazoned with the Joyn logo. Despite the hurdles, Joko and Klaas fought on, securing a total of two advantages during the six games leading up to the final showdown.
In the final challenge, they faced a sorting tasks, where they had to arrange zodiac signs in their correct order. With the two advantages, they needed to accumulate only 34 points in eight rounds instead of 40, a task they conquered efficiently as a team. Having clawed their way back to victory, the jubilant hosts celebrated their long-awaited second win of the season. The following Thursday's primetime slot on ProSieben will be temporarily vacant, allowing them to command the airwaves for 15 live minutes. For fans of "Germany's Next Topmodel," this delay might mean a 15-minute wait for their favorite show.
ProSieben will air the season finale of "Joko & Klaas vs. ProSieben" next Wednesday.
