In the snowy atmosphere of the Allianz Arena, where Bayern Munich previously clinched a 1-0 win in last year's Champions League finale, PSG and Bayern clashed again. Despite Bayern holding possession and launching a flurry of attacks, Paul Pogba's men remain unyielding to Hansi Flick's first Champions League loss as Bayern's head coach, following their impressive 15-win and 1-draw streak [1].

Within two and a half minutes, Mbappe opened the scoring, courtesy of Neuer's fumble after a Neymar dribble into Bayern's half. Marquinhos then doubled PSG's lead by calmly sliding the ball into the box, and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting managed an equalizer for Bayern with a powerful header.

As the second half unfolded, a series of opportunities presented themselves to Bayern, but Neuer’s incredible saves maintained PSG’s lead. Thomas Müller finally scored, marking his 48th Champions League goal and equaling the totals of Andre Shevchenko and Zlatan Ibrahimovic [1], before Mbappe added a third with a low drive that found its way past Neuer.

Despite another loss, the firm performance of keeper Keylor Navas spared Bayern from an even more decisive defeat [1].

Meanwhile, Chelsea cemented their Champions League progression with a 2-0 victory over Porto in a tight contest. Following a frustrating 2-5 defeat to West Brom in the Premier League, Tuchel's side bounced back in style with first-half strikes from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell. Potential victories for Manchester City against Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid against Liverpool would further enhance PSG's chances of going all the way in the Champions League.
