Mayor of Nazarovo in Kransoyarsk Krai resigns prematurely.
City of Nazarovo in Krasnoyarsk Krai is mayor-less, with Vladimir Saar stepping down from his position earlier than expected.
The local city council approved Saar's resignation on February 26th. According to Kommersant, Saar resigned of his own accord.
Vladimir Saar, now 61, has a background in agriculture, serving as a head of a collective farm and a peasant farm, and leading Karatuzsky District from 2003 to 2011. He served as a representative of the governor in the Central Territorial District in 2012 and took the helm as head of Kirovsky District in Krasnoyarsk that same year. Later, he led Sverdловsky District. Saar became the mayor of Nazarovo in 2022.
As of now, a new competition for the mayoral position in the city hasn't been scheduled yet.
