Levy Makes Comeback at Sixdays in Berlin - Maximilian Levy ends retirement with sprint comeback at Berlin’s Six Day Weekend

Maximilian Levy is set to return to track cycling after three years away from the sport. The four-time world champion and seven-time European champion will compete in the sprint at the Six Day Weekend in Berlin. His comeback race takes place on January 30 and 31, 2026.

Levy retired from professional cycling in 2023 but has stayed active in the sport. Since then, he has taken on a role as a junior coach for the German Cycling Federation. He has also shifted focus to endurance events, training for and competing in Ironman races.

Levy’s comeback adds excitement to the 2026 Sixdays Weekend. His record as a world and European champion suggests he will be a force in the sprint events. The race will also give fans a chance to see how his endurance training translates back to the track.
