Matches for the T20 Asia Cup will be held in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
The 2025 edition of the Men's Twenty20 Asia Cup is all set to captivate cricket fans across the globe, as it takes centre stage in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from the 9th to the 28th of September, 2025.
The tournament, organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), will see a total of 19 matches being played, with Dubai hosting 11 matches, including the final, and Abu Dhabi hosting 8. This edition of the Asia Cup will feature eight teams, two more than the last edition, as it serves as preparation for the 2026 Men's T20 World Cup.
The teams are divided into two groups: Group A, consisting of defending champions India, Pakistan, UAE, and Oman, and Group B, comprising Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong.
Key match dates and venues include the India vs UAE and India vs Pakistan Group A matches, which will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on the 10th and 14th of September, respectively. The India vs Oman match will take place in Abu Dhabi at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium on the 19th of September. The opener of the tournament will be held in Abu Dhabi between Afghanistan and Hong Kong.
The final match will be held in Dubai, promising a thrilling conclusion to the tournament. Notably, the Shaheens' (Pakistan's cricket team) camp begins today, and their departure for Australia is scheduled for the 8th of September.
