This film, set to depict the legendary West German rowing eight team's victory at the 1960 Olympics, is being directed by Hannu Salonen and stars Oliver Masucci as the coach, Karl Adam.
The production, which is currently underway as of August 2025, is focusing on the intense and inspiring journey of the rowing team. The filming location, Ratzeburg, known for its rowing heritage, is supporting the realistic recreation of the 1960 Olympic rowing training and events.
