In a media round, Kehl declared that the dialogue between the two clubs had ended amicably, but with opposing viewpoints on Gittens' current value. As it stands, Gittens will don the Borussia Dortmund jersey during the Club World Cup, taking place in the USA from June 14 to July 13. Kehl remains optimistic about Gittens' contributions to the team: "Jamie definitely makes our team better," he said[5].
