Berlin-Neukölln: Chaotic School Brawl Leaves Principal with a Broken Hand

The tranquility of Berlin-Neukölln's local school was disrupted by a wild brawl amongst pupils, teachers, and even law enforcement officers. The principal, aged 52, attempted to intervene, only to end up with a fractured hand on Monday morning. According to police reports, shared the following day. Notably, this violent incident was not sparked by political motives, but rather a trivial matter.

At approximately 10:30 a.m., a scuffle broke out between a pair of 14-year-olds and a 15-year-old student, followed by a counterattack from two other boys. One of the pupils sprayed pepper spray, inadvertently being engulfed in the gas cloud himself. His accomplice seized the spray and proceeded to attack the other group, leading a 15-year-old companion to join in the fray.

Two dedicated teachers who stepped in to manage the situation also fell victim to the pepper spray. The principal's intervention led to her being severely injured, necessitating a hospital visit. Upon arrival of several concerned officers, the situation experienced some improvement, only for a 21-year-old brother of a pupil to retaliate with a punch. Law enforcement officers eventually overpowered their assailant, who proceeded to insult and threaten them. The case is currently under investigation for assault on police officers, threats, insults, and inflicting grievous bodily harm.
