Bremen authorities are seeking witnesses after a series of concerning incidents in the city. Unknown perpetrators, some wearing masks, caused disturbances and started fires in the Tenever area between October 24 and 29, 2025. On Friday evening, a group of up to 150 people, some wearing masks, marched through Bremen’s suburban district. During this gathering, fireworks were set off, although no injuries were reported. The group dispersed before police arrived, leaving behind spent fireworks at the scene. This incident follows a string of break-ins and arson attacks in the Osterholzer Heerstraße area of Tenever. Unknown masked individuals broke into a day care center and a facility for people with disabilities, setting fire to a pile of furniture and waste on a terrace. Police extinguished the fire upon arrival and are currently investigating, seeking witnesses to help identify the mask wearers.
Bremen police are urging witnesses to come forward with any information regarding these incidents. The investigation into the public order breaches and explosives violations is ongoing.
