How the Marvel Year Will Unfold - Marvel’s 2026 Lineup Unleashes New Heroes, Villains and Epic Showdowns

Marvel Studios has unveiled a packed 2026 schedule, featuring major films and series. The year will bring back fan-favourite heroes while introducing fresh storylines. From solo adventures to ensemble blockbusters, the lineup promises high-stakes action across both cinemas and streaming platforms like Disney Plus.

The year kicks off on January 28 with Wonder Man, a meta-comedy series arriving exclusively on Disney Plus. This will be followed by Daredevil: Born Again, returning for its second season on March 5.

Later in the first half of 2026, a Punisher special starring Jon Bernthal will debut on Disney Plus. The character will also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, where Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker. This time, Spider-Man will battle crime without Avengers support, teaming up instead with Bernthal’s Punisher. The film swings into cinemas on July 30. On the streaming side, Vision Quest continues the story of White Vision, though no exact release date has been confirmed yet. The year closes with Avengers: Doomsday, hitting theatres on December 16. The ensemble cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, and Chris Evans. Robert Downey Jr. joins as Victor von Doom, replacing Jonathan Majors in the role of Doctor Doom.

Marvel’s 2026 slate spans comedy, solo heroics, and all-out team battles. With new villains, unexpected team-ups, and returning stars, the franchise is set for one of its biggest years yet. Fans can expect fresh twists alongside familiar faces across both Disney Plus and cinemas.
