Marvel Prepares for a Repeat of Knull Event
In a striking turn of events, Marvel Comics is set to introduce a new series titled "Knull #1," which is scheduled for release on January 14, 2024. The series focuses on the symbiote god, Knull, who has been given a larger spotlight by the publishing giant.
Written by Al Ewing and Tom Waltz, and illustrated by Juanan Ramirez, the series promises a captivating narrative. Waltz hints at surprises in store for readers, while Waltz teases that Ramirez's artwork is darkly bombastic.
Knull, known for his ambition to amass new power, is currently imprisoned. His plan to exact revenge on his enemies, which includes Mary Jane Watson as Venom and Eddie Brock as Carnage, remains a mystery. The continuation of Knull's storyline in the comic is written by Ryan Cady and Iban Coello; the comic was released in August 2023.
The series positions Knull alongside other major villains such as Green Goblin and Thanos. However, no new information about Knull's plan to break out of prison or his intention to get a new villain was provided.
Tom Waltz expresses his excitement about the character of Knull and the potential he has, suggesting that the symbiote god's storyline is far from over. The planned Symbiote epic is expected in 2026, marking the culmination of Knull's power-gathering.
Stay tuned for more updates on this thrilling symbiote saga as it unfolds.
