Marvel Comics Prepares for Confrontation with the Prominent Predator in Upcoming Intellectual Property Conflict
Get ready for some epic showdowns, peeps! It's been a year since Marvel's heroes have been tangling with the Alien and Godzilla, and it ain't slowing down. Now, the Predator is stepping into the ring, ready to take on Marvel's best - and worse - in live-action and animated movies coming this year.
First up, the Predator will square off against Black Panther, Wolverine, and Spider-Man (that kicks off this week!). But that's just the start, because in August, we've got the five-issue book "Predator Kills the Marvel Universe" on our hands. Written by the brilliant Ben Percy, who also penned the "vs. Spider-Man" series, and featuring the art of Marcelo Ferreira, this new series is going to be explosive!
In an exclusive chat with IGN, Percy dropped some serious hints about what's in store for us. He teased a grand scale invasion of Earth, with the Predator King leading the charge against our favorite heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe.
"Yep, that title ain't no bull," Percy told IGN. "You're gonna see some heavy casualties among our beloved characters - even the strong ones won't be safe. This is go-time, and we ain't pulling any punches."
Remember that vibranium that the Predators stole from Black Panther in the previous crossover? That shit is going to change the game, giving the Predator King an edge over our superheroes, including the X-Men and Spider-Man.
Percy promised a jaw-dropping finale, so grab your popcorn and settle in because things are about to get messy. "Everybody's on the line. Nobody's safe, so buckle up. It's gonna get ugly."
Mark your calendars, because "Predator Kills the Marvel Universe" drops on August 13. And if that ain't enough, stay tuned for more updates on the latest Marvel, Star Wars, Star Trek, DC Universe, and Doctor Who releases!
