Marvel Comics Prepares for Brutal Showdown with Iconic Badass, Predator in Upcoming Project
Get Ready for a Cosmic Battle Royale!
The Marvel Universe is about to face a new threat, and it ain't just the Alien or Godzilla. This time, it's the Predator's turn to wreak havoc! With live-action and animated movies in the works, the intergalactic trophy hunter is ready to take on some of Earth's mightiest heroes.
Prepare to witnessmayhem as the Predator King clashes with the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, the X-Men, and a smorgasbord of other Marvel heavyweights in Predator Kills the Marvel Universe. The five-issue series penned by Ben Percy and illustrated by Marcelo Ferreira promises a brutal, action-packed showdown.
"This ain't no walk in the park," Percy told IGN. "Your favorite heroes and villains are gonna get their activated asses handed to 'em. Earth is now a predator playground." The Yautja's previous encounters, notably the theft of Vibranium in their battle with Black Panther, will resound throughout this epic event, granting the Predator King an advantage over Earth's mightiest defenders.
As the Predator King squares off against the likes of Spider-Man, the X-Men, and the Avengers, brutal conflicts are inevitable. Percy hinted at a jaw-dropping denouement, so brace yourself for a notable hero's final stand. "Every character's on the chopping block," he teased. "No one's safe, and we're not playing nice, so gird your loins."
The first issue of this bloodbath drops on August 13.
