"Martin Frank's show to include a new element: "Desired outcome achieved"'
Martin Frank is set to return to BR Fernsehen with the second season of his popular late-night show, "Frank on Friday," airing every Friday at 10 PM starting September 19th.
In the first season, Frank felt guided, but for the upcoming season, he aims to be more authentic and true to himself. The second season promises to be more personal and daring, with a focus on providing a clearer and more focused narrative.
One of the highlights of the new season is the introduction of a segment called "Fetch Frank," where Frank visits viewers to help with their problems in person. The segment aims to offer quirky solutions to viewers' issues, with Frank taking on various roles such as an alpaca hairdresser, a headhunter in the Bavarian Forest, or a problem solver for a school class.
The new season also includes street polls for the first time, allowing Frank to get out more on the streets and engage with the public.
The guest list for Season 2 includes Tatort detective Ferdinand Hofer, singer Max Mutzke, cult actress Michaela May, and satirist Abdelkarim. The episode featuring Michaela May is said to be extremely funny, with a film kiss included, while sparks are said to fly in the episode featuring Max Mutzke.
Frank is also excited about the challenge of incorporating music into television with the opera arias, with each episode ending with an aria from opera history, reimagined by Martin Frank.
Fans of the show can look forward to the upcoming four episodes, featuring guests Ferdinand Hofer, Max Mutzke, Michaela May, and Abdelkarim. The chemistry between Frank and Max Mutzke is said to have almost led to a love story during the filming of their episode.
Overall, Season 2 of "Frank on Friday" is shaping up to be an exciting and entertaining ride, with Frank promising to present his guests from a completely new angle in each episode. Don't miss out on the return of "Frank on Friday" starting September 19th on BR Fernsehen.
