Marisa Burger reveals fresh details about her upcoming project, following her work with "The Rosenheim Cops".
Marisa Burger, who has achieved cult status in the TV world with her role as Miriam Stockl in 'Die Rosenheim-Cops,' is preparing to leave the series after 25 years. Filming for the 25th season wrapped up on October 17th, and Burger's character will depart in the upcoming episodes.
Burger's future acting engagements remain unknown, but she has expressed her intent to secure more roles in the future. In the meantime, she has started a new project, a podcast named 'Abendkasse - Kultur in der Clutch.'
Co-hosted by her close friend Solveig Duda, the podcast delves into topics such as theater, books, films, and restaurants in Munich. Burger and Duda decided to launch the podcast because, as Burger puts it, 'these two powerhouses should do something together.'
For Burger, the job as a podcaster brings her joy and fun. However, her departure from 'Die Rosenheim-Cops' won't be easy due to her friendly relationships with colleagues like Karin Thaler and Max Müller. Burger has even mentioned that she may cry on her last day of filming.
After finishing the 25th season, Burger plans to explore other acting roles and pursue more artistic freedom. She found the long-term commitment limiting her opportunities in other films and projects. The podcast, therefore, serves as a way for Burger to continue working after finishing with 'Die Rosenheim-Cops.'
In the first episode of the podcast, Burger reveals how she and Solveig Duda became podcasters. Burger's new podcast project is not related to her future acting engagements.
Despite the end of an era, Burger's legacy as Miriam Stockl in 'Die Rosenheim-Cops' will undoubtedly live on. Fans can look forward to her future endeavours, including her new podcast, 'Abendkasse - Kultur in der Clutch.'
