Marina Kovaleva Wins the Russian Marathon Championships
On Sunday, May 4th, 2025, the bustling Kazan Marathon took place in its capital, Tatarstan.
Hailing from Omsk, the renowned runner Marina Kovaleva secured the runner-up position in the 42.2km race. The Kenyan Judith Cherono, who crossed the finish line in a remarkable time of 2:29:23, slightly outran Kovaleva by 63 seconds[1].
