Mariella Ahrens and Marco van Dreé: A Love Story in the Limelight

Mariella Ahrens is "extremely delighted" or "overjoyed" with her current situation.

Not so long ago, the world caught a glimpse of actress Mariella Ahrens in a controversial spread for "Playboy." Now, a few months later, speculation has shifted towards her partner, Marco van Dreé, who, according to reports, is the fortunate individual privy to such revelations. The couple, together for over a year, even have marriage on their minds.

In an interview with "Bunte" magazine, Ahrens divulged her newfound contentment, expressing, "We are really very happy—and I’ve not felt this happy, this relaxed, in a long, long time." Van Dreé, an entrepreneur, confessed that matrimony might be the next move, declaring, "With Mariella, I could imagine everything—even getting married!"

Their shared love story began in a bustling bar in Cologne a year ago. "From the moment our eyes met," Van Dreé recalls, "I felt an immediate connection—it was love at first sight for me!" Fascinated by Ahrens' enchanting aura, he found himself unable to resist approaching her. What followed was hours of captivating conversation that left them oblivious to the passing of time and the world around them.

Ahrens' Admirer Extraordinaire

Van Dreé, 51, expresses his adoration for Ahrens, 56, stating, "Mariella is my dream woman. The person I want to spend the rest of my life with." Before their meeting, Ahrens had been single for approximately four years, having explored the challenges of long-distance relationships without success. "I need someone by my side, someone with whom I can grow old and who will be there for each other," she affirmed.

Witnessing and experiencing the ebbs and flows of relationships, Ahrens found faith in the power of love, admitting, "It can happen unexpectedly—I am living proof of that!"

Mariella Ahrens: A Life of Love and Laughter

Ahrens' romantic life has been tabloid fodder before. Her eldest daughter, Isabella, 26, is birthed from her relationship with Croatian entrepreneur Dragan Banic. Ahrens tied the knot with investment banker Jost Paffrath in 2001 but separated a year later, leading to a divorce in 2004. In 2006, she married her second husband, Patrick Graf von Faber-Castell, who adopted Isabella following their nuptials. They are additionally blessed with daughter Lucia, 18. However, the couple announced their separation in 2012 and officially separated in 2015.

Ahrens entered the popular reality series "I’m a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!" in 2004 and has graced the pages of "Playboy" three times. In March of this year, she appeared in a particularly well-received issue, which, interestingly, followed her blossoming relationship with Van Dreé.

Van Dreé, originally from Hamburg, now residing near Düsseldorf, also engages in philanthropic work and established the animal protection organization Veto. A bachelor thus far, he has no children, as revealed in his "Bunte" interview.
