MariBank Launches Low-Cost Singapore Equity Fund with S$1 Minimum
MariBank has introduced a new investment product called Mari Invest Singapore Equity, allowing customers to invest in Singapore-listed equities from just S$1. The fund, managed by Amova Asset Management Asia Limited, carries no transaction fees and aims to make equity investing more accessible.
The product will initially be available on an invite-only basis before opening to the public via the MariBank app in early April 2026. It distributes the Amova Singapore Dividend Equity Fund SGD Class, which focuses on companies with sustainable dividend yields, growth potential, and undervalued firms showing positive fundamental change.
The fund targets monthly payouts of between 5% and 7% per annum of its net asset value (NAV) per unit. However, these distributions are not guaranteed and may come from income or capital, which could reduce the NAV immediately. Amova is one of six managers appointed under the **Monetary Authority of Singapore's S$6.5 billion Equity Market Development Programme**. Eleanor Seet, President and Head of Asia ex-Japan at Amova, stated that lowering investment barriers helps create a more inclusive equities market. This new offering joins MariBank's existing investment lineup, which includes **Mari Invest Gold, Mari Invest Income, and Mari Invest SavePlus**.
The fund primarily invests in equities listed on the Singapore Exchange, including those outside the Straits Times Index, as well as selected overseas-listed stocks. By removing transaction fees and setting a low minimum investment, MariBank aims to broaden access to Singapore's equity market.
