The Spanish Athletics Championships, broadcast live on Teledeporte and Play, saw a host of impressive performances over the weekend. The grand finale of the championships took place this Sunday, with top athletes competing for national glory.
One of the standout performances came from Marta Garcia, who defended her national title in the 5000m race. Garcia won decisively with a championship record time of 14:59.23, securing her fourth consecutive national title. This feat has not been achieved in Spanish athletics since 2001.

Other notable performances include Frederik Ruppert and Olivia Gürth, who won silver medals in the 3000m steeplechase, and Florian Bremm, who took silver in the 5000m with a time of 13:50.42.

Paula Sevilla emerged victorious, while Daniela Fra watched closely from fourth place. Markel Fernández and David García took second and third place, respectively, in the men's 400m, with Bernat Erra crossing the line first.

The hammer throw was another event that produced exciting results. Laura Redondo claimed her seventh title, while Natalia Sánchez and Andrea Sales rounded out the podium. Kevin Arreaga retained the Spanish championship title in the hammer throw with a final throw of 70.89m.
