Maria Patino Acquitted of Insult and Slander Charges Against Antonio David Flores

Maria Patino has recently been acquitted of insult and slander charges brought against her by Antonio David Flores. The verdict comes after a two-year wait and was announced live on her programme, 'Ni que fuera'.

Patino expressed confidence in her position and stated that the law is on her side. She named Flores and suggested his defenders might feel ashamed when they learn what he has done. Patino also stated she would protect her family and has never used them in her disputes.

The acquittal follows recent confrontations between Patino and Flores. Flores had accused Patino of participating in the placement of posters against him after the broadcast of the documentary series 'Rocio, contar la verdad para seguir viva'. Patino described an incident involving Flores as 'something very serious' that affected her directly.

Patino was initially represented by prominent lawyer Patricia Barberá in the early stages of her legal battles with Flores. Barberá accompanied Patino in the early legal steps during the separation and first conflicts with Flores, particularly regarding their children and media disputes. However, as the legal situation became more complex, Patino engaged additional lawyers.

Patino's acquittal is a significant development in her ongoing legal disputes with Flores. Despite the acquittal, tensions remain high between the two. Patino has made it clear that she will protect her family and is confident in her legal position.
