Maria Zardoya, the frontwoman of the psychedelic-soul and indie pop band The Marias, has announced her debut solo project under the banner "Not for Radio." The announcement was made during a live stream on The Marias' official Instagram account.

Zardoya revealed the incoming project on another Instagram account with the username "Not for Radio." However, the search results do not provide the name of the administrator of this account.

The video trailer for the "Not for Radio" project features stills of a blooming flower and includes a quote from Zardoya: "I keep asking myself the question: Is love worth the pain?" The trailer has been shared on the "Not for Radio" Instagram account.

Zardoya described her solo project as another layer of herself. She also teased collaborations for this project, but the details are yet to be disclosed.

The Marias have been making waves in the music industry, with their most recent full-length album, "Submarine," earning mass critical acclaim. The album landed the band on stages like Coachella and as the opening act for Billie Eilish's "Hit Me Hard and Soft" tour.
