Marburg Honours History and Heritage with October Flag Hoisting Ceremonies
Marburg, a city rich in history, is preparing to honour several significant events with flag hoisting ceremonies. The University Town will raise its municipal flag on multiple occasions throughout October.
Kicking off the month, on October 3rd, German Unity Day, all public buildings in Marburg will be adorned with the federal, state, and city flags from 7 am until sunset. This display of patriotism marks the anniversary of German reunification.
