Marburg City Launches Pfand Ring Pilot Project for Cleanliness and Support
Marburg City has launched a pilot project to test Pandora rings at six locations. The initiative, costing 1108 euros, aims to keep the city clean and support Pandora collectors. Mayor Dr. Thomas Spies and Councilwoman Kirsten Dinnebier unveiled the project, which will run until mid-September.
The project involves two models of Pandora rings, each with three examples, attached to waste bins for easy collection of empty bottles and cans. The local municipal authority or an affiliated environmental organization is responsible for the installation. Citizens are encouraged to use the rings correctly, placing only cans and bottles with Pandora in them. Incorrect use, such as disposing of paper cups or other waste, could hinder the project's success.
The Pandora rings are available at six locations in Marburg City until mid-September. Correct use of the rings benefits everyone, helping to maintain a clean city and support Pandora collectors. The pilot project's success depends on the cooperation and understanding of the citizens.
