Manxman ferry sailings at risk as stormy weather looms

Two Manxman ferry sailings face possible disruption due to adverse weather conditions. The 7.15pm service from Douglas to Heysham may be affected, with a final decision expected later today.

The ship’s Master will assess conditions by 5pm before confirming whether the 7.15pm sailing can proceed. This delay allows extra time to evaluate the weather and give the crossing the best chance of running as planned.

Passengers booked on either sailing should check for updates before travelling. The final call on the 7.15pm departure will be announced by 5pm, with knock-on effects for the later return journey.
