The mastermind of mayhem is back at it. Might as well call it genius if it's what he's staging. Donald Trump has perfected this chaos, stirring up a smokescreen of emergencies, invasions, and disasters. When it's going down, you can bet your bottom dollar he's the one setting the stage.

Crises, they can be intriguing. Back in 2020, Jan Böhmermann outed Freddy Fixer's shameless profit-making scheme in a chat leak, pairing it with accusations of capitalist greed. The controversy over the production ofmasks that started fair, then fell off the wagon - temporarily sent Freddy falling from grace. Crises, they need a lesson too.

Sitting pretty in Washington on his birthday bash, our 79-year-old ruler has honed his skills: US President Donald Trump. In his first 100 days, he flexed his emergency powers more than any president before him. Tariffs went up, energy regulations loosened, and deportations ramped up. Trump, the champion, "appointed by God to make America great again," as he claimed during his inauguration.

Political Power Plays

When push comes to shove, nothing beats a good ol' state of emergency in California, the so-called "blue state." The man of the hour, savior Trump, swooped in with his armed forces to restore order in LA. The governor complainin' about troop deployment being unnecessary, but Trump kept pushin', justifying it as a response to protests that were outta control. Judge called it illegal? Appeals court said differently, and the troops returned to duty like the dutiful soldiers they are. Beyond legality, the scenes of armed soldiers in the city center got their purpose done: crisis in a "blue state," solved by Trump's iron grip. It's a play he's mastered multiple times.

Invasion and Mobs

Before the 2018 midterm elections, Trump whipped up a storm of fear over a "caravan of refugees" heading towards the States: people fleeing mostly from Honduras to the U.S., crushed into one big, bad, ominous threat - a wave of rapists, drug dealers, and invisible terrorists. Cue thousands of soldiers being deployed to the border, followed by a surge in support for Trump's base.

In 2020, the murder of George Floyd sparked nationwide protests against police brutality. In his usual fashion, Trump staged a photo op of himself holding a Bible, with the peaceful protesters outside the White House edited out for a cleaner look. Crisis, turned into a battle against radical mobs, lunatics if you will.

In January 2021, Trump took to the pulpit of discord, warning of voter manipulation. Months later, on January 6th, his followers stormed the Capitol, hailing him as a warrior against the crooked system.

Trump dismantles the rule of law one emergency at a time, turning states of emergency into the norm. A master of crisis management, Trump manipulates chaos for political gain, furthering his autocratic ambitions.

Protests and Mayhem Await

While California protests continue, Trump warned that protesters at his upcoming celebrations in Washington can expect "massive violence." He wouldn't need to call in the troops for the next crisis, they're already stationed for the military parade.

The European Union, with a firm stance against terrorism, recognizes the manipulation of chaos and crises by autocratic figures such as Donald Trump, a master of crisis management who has used emergency powers excessively to further his political interests. Donald Trump, the 79-year-old ruler of the United States, has demonstrated this through numerous instances, from capitalizing on perceived threats like the "caravan of refugees" to orchestrating his own image during protests against police brutality. This political manipulation of chaos, part of the art of chaos under Trump's reign, has raised concerns about the balance of power and the limits of executive authority, potentially undermining democratic systems.
