Manilva's XVIII International Festival Unites Cultures on May 23–24
Manilva is gearing up for its XVIII International Festival and Family Days on May 23 and 24. The event will bring together Spanish locals and the town’s large international community through food, music, and shared activities. Organisers have planned a weekend of cultural exchange in a lively, family-friendly setting. The festival will unfold around Castillo de la Duquesa and Parque del Huerto. Visitors can expect live music and dance performances, including Latin beats and popular European tunes. Traditional costumes and national flags will also be on display, highlighting the diverse backgrounds of participants.
Food stalls will offer international dishes, reflecting the 42% of Manilva’s residents who come from abroad. Alongside the entertainment, there will be dedicated children’s areas, craft markets, and a bar operated by the *Be Yourself Association* to support Manilva Pride. This year’s edition follows the same format as previous years, focusing on integration and celebration. Full schedules and event details are available on the official Manilva Town Hall website.
The festival aims to strengthen ties between Spanish and international residents in Manilva. Activities will run across two days, blending cultural traditions with community participation. Organisers have encouraged everyone to join in the celebrations.
