Manchester City crush Liverpool 3-0 to tighten Premier League grip

Manchester City secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Liverpool in the Premier League. The win sees Liverpool slip to eighth in the table, while Manchester City solidify their position at the top. After the international break, Liverpool will host Nottingham Forest at Anfield.

Erling Haaland opened the scoring for Manchester City, making amends for an earlier missed penalty. Manuel Akanji, often referred to as 'Nico', doubled the lead before half-time. Jérémy Doku sealed the victory with a late third goal. Looking ahead, Manchester City will face Newcastle United in an upcoming Premier League clash, although the date and venue remain unconfirmed.
