Manan Pancholi claims top spot on SVS Day 1 with highest score in Hi-Fi competition
🔥 dang, Spartan Poker's kickin' it up a notch in March with the Spartan Value Series (SVS),izia plan for ya low-stakes grinders out there! 💰 A whopping 5-day tournament series with over 24 events, and a total scattering before your eyes of INR 66+ Lakhs. And, who wouldn't want a piece of that sweet Millionaire Lite, boasting a GTD of INR 35 Lakhs? 🔥 Here's a quick rundown of SVS Day 1, my friend:
SVS #1: INR 50K GTD
With a min buy-in of INR 110 and 545 runners, this tournament had quite the party! The final prize pool breached INR 54,500, with the top 39 finishers cashing out. After an intense grind, it was 'bml2012' coming out on top, raking in the first-place prize money following a 6-way deal. 'Vodafone77' had to settle for the second-place payout.
SVS #2: INR 65K GTD
The clock struck 3 pm, and 337 players registered for the second event after paying INR 220. With the top 27 finishers earning a share of the final prize pool, 'Kumaran123' took the lion's share, defeating 'RunLolaRun' heads-up for INR 14,929.
Level 33 showcased a classic face-off between 'Kumaran123' with 9♦ K♣ and 'RunLolaRun' holding the 9♣ 7♣. The board dealt T♠ 5♥ 8♥ Q♦ J♣, and 'Kumaran123' sealed the deal with a higher straight, sending 'RunLolaRun' to the runner-up position.
SVS #3: INR 40K GTD
With a buy-in of INR 165, 240 players jumped into the fray for the third tournament. In level 28, the players decided to settle for a three-way deal, with 'paisenikalbc' landing the runner-up spot. But, the crown went to 'Sat567'.
SVS #4: INR 2.20 Lakhs GTD
The fourth event cranked up the buy-in to INR 880 and the guarantee to INR 2.20 Lakhs. With 271 entries, only the top 27 finishers cashed out, just as 'RunLolaRun' encountered yet another second-place finish. This time, it was 'Zohaan' who reigned supreme, thanks to his full house, leaving 'RunLolaRun' in the dust with his flush.
SVS #5 - Hi-Fi: INR 2 Lakhs GTD
February's Millionaire Lite saw Manan Pancholi, known as 'Devildareman', triumph over the field last night, earning a valuable title and adding to his poker trophy case. Day 1 wrapped with the Hi-Fi tournament, which garnered a total of 506 entries, surpassing the guarantee and forming an INR 2.53 Lakh prize pool. The top 47 places received a min-cash of INR 1,442. Pancholi outlasted Dhinesh Kumar, aka 'kendralust', in heads-up with his two pairs of KKTT.
