Unleashing Bolt's Football Dreams: Usain Bolt's Top 3 Wishlist for Manchester United's Summer Signings

Disappointing seasons call for bold moves, and Manchester United is certainly no stranger to this. As they gear up for another pivotal transfer window, Olympic legend Usain Bolt rolls up his sleeves and drops his top three dream signings for the Red Devils.

So, what does the eight-time gold medalist Sprinter have his eye on?

Three Dream Signings According to Bolt

Speaking exclusively to Bleacher Report, Bolt shares his picks. He's been keeping an eye on a talented trio that he believes could make a stunning impact at Old Trafford.

"The left winger from Atalanta, he's called Ademola Lookman. I've watched him throughout; he's pretty good," Bolt reveals. He then adds, "Cole Palmer has really shown his class. And the striker is...I can't pronounce his last name, but it's Viktor [Gyokeres] from Sporting [Lisbon]."

Reading Up on Bolt's Dream Signings

[Ademola] Lookman, a former Charlton Athletic and Everton star, has been turning heads in Serie A with Atalanta. Last season, he scored a magnificent hat-trick in their Europa League final win against Bayer Leverkusen, followed by a strong 2024/25 season with 18 goals and seven assists.

Then there's Cole Palmer, a Chelsea attacker who, despite a difficult second season, has managed to net 14 goals and assist another ten for the Blues. Though he's yet to score since their January draw against Bournemouth, Palmer has been United's most productive contributor and is a boyhood United fan.

Lastly, there's the enigmatic Gyokeres. Given his previous work with United head coach Ruben Amorim at Sporting, it's no surprise to see Bolt eyeing the striker. Since joining Sporting from Coventry City in 2023, Gyokeres has netted an incredible 95 goals in just 98 appearances.

Despite his connection to United, there is stiff competition for Gyokeres, with Arsenal also reportedly keen on his services1.

United's Focus Beyond the Pitch

As United prepares to enter the summer transfer market, they have reason to be optimistic. Their impressive 3-0 victory against ten-man Athletic Bilbao in the Europa League semi-final first leg has them on course to face Tottenham in the final2.

The club is currently working towards securing their status as Europa League champions and, with that, a boost for their transfer plans in the upcoming season.

As the dust settles on the pitch, the work begins on rebuilding, strengthening, and keeping United among the Premier League giants. Maybe Bolt knows something about football knowledge we didn't know...
