A fellow met his demise in an unfortunate mishap on the A2 highway. At around 11 p.m., this 27-year-old individual lost control of his ride, veering off the road near the Garbsen Nord service area. The reasons behind this loss of control remain unclear.
Upon departing the Autobahn, the driver collided with the roadside barrier, only to continue his journey over the grassy verge. This desperate excursion led him to crash into the side of a stationary lorry, parked along the slip road to the acceleration lane. The force of the impact was immense, causing the driver's untimely demise.
A 40-year-old man, who was taking a break in the lorry, sustained minor injuries as a result of the collision. The estimated damage to the vehicles involved and the lorry reached an alarming €82,000.
