In the quaint town of Geretsried, nestled within the Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen district of Upper Bavaria, a heated altercation outside a local pub turned into a chilling incident. A 34-year-old man, hailing from Poland, is now in police custody, accused of attempted murder.
Police reports reveal that the suspect and a 40-year-old local resident engaged in a heated argument, which escalated into a brawl. During the scuffle, the Polish man allegedly knocked his opponent down. To add insult to injury, he reportedly jumped on his victim's head with both feet, causing severe physical harm.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with multiple broken bones. Fortunately, his life was not in imminent danger. After initially fleeing the scene, the suspect was apprehended less than two hours later by the authorities.
