Interestingly, Adams believes that only one pop star has done justice to a version of Summer of '69, but he has not disclosed the name. However, in a recent interview, he did mention Taylor Swift as the pop star who comes closest.
Another Gibson Les Paul was used on Reckless by Adams during the recording sessions. This one was a 1980s model, which Adams also used on several other songs throughout his career. Despite the sentimental value of the Gibson Les Paul, Adams continues to create music, his love for music and his passion for the guitar undiminished.
