TV Echterdingen Readies for a Rebuild in Landesliga

TV Echterdingen, a German football club based in Echterdingen, is gearing up for a new season in the Landesliga with a focus on rebuilding and development. After a relegation from a higher league, the team, coached by Valentin Haug, is preparing for a fresh start.

The squad has undergone significant changes, with 17 players from the previous lineup no longer part of the team. Among the departures are Daniel Kühnbach Azevedo, Kevin Prekaj, Enhar Jonus, Dorde Smiljic (all FC Esslingen), Luka Boljanic (SV Böblingen), Julian Teßmann (SSV Ehingen-Süd), Armin Zukic, Hasan Kaya (both TSV Ehningen), Jakob Ehret (relocation due to work/FC Radolfzell), Dominik Renz (studying in the USA), Royal-Dominique Fennell, Mijo Tunjic, Ricardo Boroni (career end for all), Luis Niesner, Yule Tröger (football break for both), Gyoel Toth (relocation due to studies), and Duncan Cunion (destination unknown).

However, the team is not without familiar faces. Three players who have been sidelined due to long-term injuries - Kuhn, Marko Gaspar, and Furkan Özüdogru - are making their comebacks. Özüdogru, who joined from Oberligist SSV Reutlingen, is still recovering from two previous ACL injuries and is currently in rehabilitation training.

Meanwhile, Marvin Kuhn, a key player for TV Echterdingen, has returned from a cruciate ligament injury. Two young players, Marius Nita (20) from Musberg and Laurenziu Biemel (21) from Nagold, are strong candidates for the starting lineup.

The rebuild is more future-oriented, concentrating on young, developable players. The team has welcomed ten new additions, including Laurenziu Biemel (VfL Nagold), Mehmet Karakus (TSV Bernhausen), Maric Lucov (JC Donzdorf), Marius Nita (TSV Musberg), Phil Schmidt (VfL Sindelfingen), Furkan Özüdogru (SSV Reutlingen), Yannis Kalchschmidt (FC Auggen/relocation due to work), Merdan Babatas, Marlon Herderich (both Junioren 1. CfR Pforzheim), and Jannis Duplys (Junioren VfR Heilbronn).

Philip Wunsch, the department head of TV Echterdingen, expects the team to at least play in the top third of the table. The season goal for TV Echterdingen is to improve the team's performance and play more successful and attractive football.

The opening derby against FV Neuhausen on Sunday will serve as the first assessment of the team's progress. For the latest updates on new signings and player departures, fans are advised to check the club’s official website or their official social media channels, where such transfer news is typically announced.
