The 19th edition of Talents Sarajevo, the training program at the Sarajevo Film Festival, is set to commence with a stellar lineup of mentors. This year, the program will welcome 63 up-and-coming film professionals from 17 countries.

Gabriele Brunnenmeyer and Nick Davies are co-mentoring the Pack & Pitch lab, providing essential guidance in articulating, packaging, and presenting a project. The Editing Studio, led by Redžinald Šimek, one of Bosnia's most experienced editors, will focus on editing as a decisive stage where creative choices meet practical constraints.

In the Acting Studio, Croatian actor Goran Bogdan, known for his roles in "Fargo," "Father," "The Man Who Could Not Remain Silent," winner of the 2024 Palme d'Or for best short and Oscar-nominated, will serve as the mentor.

Naum Doksevski leads the Camera Studio, emphasizing visual storytelling as an act of empathy and collaboration. Katriel Schory, an experienced and influential figure in international cinema, will lead the Producers Summit, focusing on balancing artistic vision with financial and logistical realities.

Neil Young guides Talent Press, a program for emerging film critics and journalists, bringing practical expertise in crafting insightful, responsible criticism. The exact names of the mentors in the Script Station lab at the 19th Sarajevo Film Festival Talents Sarajevo are not detailed in the current search results, but France's Isaure Pisani-Ferry and Serbia's Matija Dragojević are leading the refreshed Script Station writers' room format.

Pisani-Ferry has credits in "Becoming Karl Lagerfeld" and Netflix's "Vampires," while Dragojević is a co-author of the Canneseries winner "Awake." Other labs like the Acting Studio and Directors Summit have identified mentors such as Goran Bogdan for Acting Studio, but Script Station mentors remain unspecified in these sources.

The Directors Summit has been newly reimagined and introduces the "One Day From Competition" concept. Through sessions with Kukla, Vladimir Tagić, Stefan Đorđević, Georgi M. Unkovski, and Hana Jušić, participants in the Directors Summit will delve into the creative and emotional demands of directing.

The participants will be grouped into eight labs: Acting Studio, Directors Summit, Script Station, Camera Studio, Producers Summit, Editing Studio, Talent Press, and Pack and Pitch. The Sarajevo Film Festival, with its comprehensive training program, continues to nurture the next generation of film professionals.
