Major Police Raid Targets Gremium MC Nomads Bosporus Türkiye
A major police operation targeting the Gremium MC Nomads Bosporus Türkiye has taken place across three states. Over 400 officers were involved in the raids, which led to the seizure of illicit items and one arrest.
The action, directed from Ludwigsburg Police Headquarters and supported by Public Prosecutor's Offices in Stuttgart and Tübingen, focused on Weil der Stadt and other districts. Special units, equipped with protective gear and firearms, conducted the raids.
The Gremium MC Nomads Bosporus Türkiye is suspected of violent crimes and other criminal offenses. These include displaying banned emblems and firearms on social media. The operation follows a similar action in 2021 that led to the ban of Gremium MC Southgate in Heidelberg due to suspected organized crime.
In the Tuesday morning raid, clothing, weapons, drugs, and medication were seized. One suspect was taken into custody, although the names of the 21 targeted members have not been disclosed. This operation is the latest in a series of raids and bans against offshoots of the Gremium bikers, dating back to 1988, though some previous bans were reversed in 1992.
The successful police strike against the Gremium MC Nomads Bosporus Türkiye sends a strong message against suspected organized crime. The seized items and arrest indicate a significant disruption to the group's activities. Further investigations are ongoing.
