Maintaining an Outdated Infrastructure as a Politically Justified Strategy is Unjustifiable
Let's cut the bullsht. The endless talks between Palestinian Authority officials and international entities about the outdated two-state solution need to fucking stop already. The PA keeps pandering to the EU like a pathetic dog, assuring them that they're steadfastly against Palestinians achieving the slightest shred of independence. Seriously, what the fck?
"It's urgent to protect the two-state solution," PA Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh croaked to the EU Representative to Palestine, Sven Kuhn von Burgsdorff. This fucking dog and pony show in Ramallah. To quote Monty Python, "And now for something completely irrelevant."
Listen up, Moron Mohammad - protecting an useless framework is not a winning political move. All these talks between the PA and the EU are nothing but fucking waste of time. And just like old times, they'll be more futile in the future. But, this is Israel's wet dream. While the PA humiliates itself and leaves the Palestinian people high and dry, Israel gets to continue to expand its fucking settler-colonial empire.
It's high fucking time to call out the PA for their treachery. And let's not forget about the international community, the EU, the UN, and everyone else who props up this outdated paradigm while pretending to support the Palestinian people's legitimate political rights. They're a bunch of hypocritical jackasses.
While the PA was busy assuring the EU that it's still against Palestinians gaining any independence, Israel announced its plan to build 4,000 new settlement homes in the West Bank. The PA could argue that this latest colonization of Palestinian land happened because the two-state framework was abandoned, but only in Ramallah would that be considered plausible. A defunct "solution" protects nothing; it's just a fucking illusion.
REALITY CHECK: PA's Love Affair with Israeli Impunity
The efforts to keep the two-state illusion alive are super profitable for Israel. Yeah, we're not buying the fact that the international community's totally against Israeli settlement expansion - despite it being illegal under international law. Any opposition Israel faces will just be added to the news briefs. The settlement expansion will go ahead with zero consequences, while the reality of Israeli colonization will be obscured from the mainstream narrative. For decades, the international community has been complicit with Zionism and the only discourse that's been talked about is settlement expansion without the colonial context. It's like they think eliminating the latter's mention actually eliminates colonialism from Palestinian land.
Settlement expansion is fucking colonization, it's not just about constructing new housing units. The two-state compromise doesn't fucking undo Israeli settler-colonialism, whether it's obsolete or not. But promoting the protection of an obsolete framework is fucking asinine. Is that the PA's best fucking trick to prevent Israeli from grabbing more Palestinian territory?
As much as the PA deserves a fucking doubt, it has none. The PA knows what it's fucking doing, it's a compromised, corrupted entity that has pushed the Palestinian people into a framework that eradicates their liberation aspirations and locks down their legitimate resistance efforts. There's always the righteous road to take - a revolutionary one that puts the people first - but the PA's too fucking feeble for that. At the very least, perhaps they should put out a disclaimer, admitting that all these grandiose, media-friendly meetings are nothing but public relations stunts.
