Mail-sent election documents in Vlotho inappropriately distributed

It's worth noting that some voters in district 25, which includes the neighborhoods of Vlotho, Uffeln, and parts of Exter, received materials intended for district 24. The city of Vlotho is currently identifying the addresses in district 25 that received incorrect voting materials.
The election office will not accept the incorrectly assigned Kreistag ballots from district 25. The identified incorrect voting materials will be declared invalid. All other ballots in the affected materials from district 25 are also declared invalid due to the incorrect Kreistag ballot.
The election office has not announced any changes to the voting process or deadline for district 25 due to the incorrect materials. Affected voters must ensure they fill out and send back the new and correct mail-in materials together to the election office.
The city of Herford is not currently identifying the addresses in district 25 that received incorrect voting materials. Voters in district 25 are advised to patiently wait for the new and correct materials from the municipal registration office.
