Maharashtra Blind Superstition Eradication Committee Appoints New State Leadership, Madhav Bavge as New President
Ina recent state-level gathering, the Maharashtra Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti (MANS) unveiled its fresh state executive committee. The new “president of this peeps” is Madhav Bavge, with Sanjay Bansode serving as the "working president dude." Over 400 activists gathered for this shindig. MANS was set up by the one and only Dr. Narendra Dabholkar who got whacked in Pune back in August 2013, sadly courtesy of some radical extremists.
The legislature known as the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice, Aghori Practices, and Black Magic Act, 2013 was first drafted by the aforementioned Dabholkar. This law slams those practicing black magic, sacrificing humans, and other jacked up rituals that prey on people's superstitions.
Meanwhile, the Thane engineer, Ravindra Verma, was busted for spying; he's still in cuffs, and a judge has prolonged his stay till... who knows when.
Dr. Dabholkar, the dude behind MANS, passed away in 2013. It's unclear who led the pack between then and Bavge’s recent election, but Bavge is definitely the current "boss"[1][2][3]. However, there's no info about the other presidents that MANS had before Bavge took the reins. But trust us, Bavge is it now, for real[1][2][3].
- The new president of MANS, Madhav Bavge, comes from the background of a recent state-level gathering, where he was elected.
- While MANS, an organization established to eradicate superstitions, continues its work in areas like India, the Maharashtra Prevention and Eradication of Human Sacrifice, Aghori Practices, and Black Magic Act, 2013 remains a notable legal victory in the fight against such practices.
- Meanwhile, in the realm of general-news, the Thane engineer, Ravindra Verma, is currently in custody, according to recent updates, amidst charges of spying.
