Maharashtra and Karnataka unite to accelerate industrial and rural growth

A high-level meeting took place in Mumbai to boost industrial ties between Maharashtra and Karnataka. Rural Development Minister Jaykumar Gore met with Karnataka’s Murugesh Nirani and Vishal M. Nirani to explore ways of accelerating rural and industrial growth. The discussions also covered technology startups and large-scale investment opportunities. The talks focused on expanding agro-based industries and rural development projects. Strengthening the sugar sector and its by-products was highlighted as a key area for collaboration. Leaders also reviewed plans to attract major investments, create jobs, and support sustainable economic progress.

Promoting technology-driven startups formed another important part of the agenda. Union Minister of State Raksha Khadse and Daund MLA Rahul Kul joined the meeting, adding to the discussions on economic cooperation. Murugesh Nirani later expressed gratitude to Jaykumar Gore for his support in advancing industrial and rural initiatives.

The meeting aimed to deepen economic ties between the two states. Proposals for investment, job creation, and sustainable development were reviewed in detail. Both sides agreed to work together on industrial growth and rural advancement in the coming months.
