Magdeburg Squanders Win against Kiel in Injury Time - Magdeburg’s 60th-anniversary thriller ends in a dramatic 3-3 draw with Kiel

Magdeburg snatched a dramatic 3-3 draw against Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga. The home side had led late but conceded a last-gasp equaliser in stoppage time. The result marked a thrilling contest as Magdeburg celebrated their 60th anniversary in a special kit.

Magdeburg began strongly, pressing Kiel early. Jan-Niklas Zukowski missed a clear chance in the 9th minute before Noah Pesch converted a penalty moments later. The spot-kick followed a foul by Lumambo Musonda on Niklas Niehoff.

The draw lifted Magdeburg out of the relegation zone, though they stay 16th—three points behind Kiel. Both sides shared the points after a match filled with penalties, late goals, and relentless attacking play.
