Magadan Adjusts Heating as Warm Snowy Weather Persists Across the City
Magadan has experienced unusually warm snowy weather for several days, with forecasts indicating this trend may continue until the weekend. In response, local utility providers have reduced heating levels across the city, lowering radiator temperatures for residents.
Mayor Larisa Polikanovaya ordered an inspection of the city's boiler houses to ensure heating systems were functioning smoothly. Deputy Mayor Andrei Bendik, who previously held roles in regional development and public administration, conducted the checks.
The inspections confirmed that Magadan's boiler houses remain fully operational despite the warmer conditions. With heating systems adjusted and fuel supplies secure, the city's utility services continue to function as required.
