MAFS UK Fans Face Disruptions as Show Moves to Avoid Celebrity Traitors

Viewers of Married At First Sight UK (MAFS) have seen some changes to the usual schedule. The show has been moved or cancelled to avoid clashing with The Celebrity Traitor on BBC One. Fans can expect some disruptions in the coming weeks.

E4 shifted the Wednesday night episode of MAFS UK to an earlier time slot of 8pm earlier this month. This was to accommodate the new BBC One show, The Celebrity Traitor. However, the changes go beyond just a time shift. Thursday episodes of MAFS UK were removed from the schedule entirely. The series will return on Sunday, November 2, with an episode titled Homestays, giving the couples a glimpse of what life could be like outside of the experiment.

The disruptions will continue into November. MAFS UK viewers can expect at least one more week of disrupted scheduling, as The Celebrity Traitor concludes on Thursday, November 6. However, there's some good news for fans. From Sunday, November 9 to Friday, November 14, they will have six consecutive episodes of MAFS. This includes a two-part reunion on November 13 and 14, although the names of the couples appearing are not yet known.

The Married At First Sight UK finale will air on Wednesday, November 12, following the conclusion of The Celebrity Traitor. While the scheduling changes may have caused some inconvenience for fans, they can look forward to a week of uninterrupted MAFS viewing in early November.
