Madonna Secures Two Additional Career No. 1 Album Charts

Madonna's 'Veronica Electronica' Debuts at No. 1 on Dance Albums Chart

Madonna's latest release, "Veronica Electronica," has made a triumphant return to the charts, debuting at No. 1 on the Official Dance Albums chart in the United Kingdom. This marks the singer's third top 10 and fifth overall win on the genre-specific chart.

The album, which was first released more than half a decade ago in 1998 as Madonna's acclaimed album, Ray of Light, has been reimagined as a remix project. It aligns with electronica and remix styles, featuring rare and unreleased remixes of Ray of Light tracks by notable producers such as Peter Rauhofer, William Orbit, Sasha, BT, and Victor Calderone. The set also includes an original demo, "Gone, Gone, Gone," produced with Rick Nowels.

Veronica Electronica has been a quick win for Madonna, as it has debuted at the top of the dance charts. The album's arrival on the main Official Albums chart also helps Madonna reach a special milestone, as it's her thirtieth career placement on the tally.

The previously unreleased demo "Gone Gone Gone" topped the US iTunes Songs chart and debuted at number 72 on the UK Singles Downloads Chart before the album's launch, reflecting notable digital success.

Veronica Electronica revives a long-lost project representing Madonna's Ray of Light era alter ego "Veronica Electronica." Its release more than 25 years later expands her Silver Collection series, emphasizing vinyl collectors and longtime fans by issuing limited-edition physical formats like silver vinyl with exclusive lithograph art.

This is Madonna's second No. 1 dance album, making it a significant achievement for the singer. The last time Madonna had a No. 1 dance album was more than two decades ago.

Veronica Electronica opens at No. 3 on both the Official Album Downloads and the Official Vinyl Albums charts simultaneously. It also kicks off at No. 5 on both the Official Albums Sales list and the Official Physical Albums ranking.

Madonna's latest project is aimed at her most die-hard superfans, and it has started inside the top 10 on four other U.K. charts: Official Album Downloads, Official Vinyl Albums, Official Albums Sales, and Official Physical Albums.

In recent years, Madonna has hinted at a new album titled Confessions on a Dance Floor 2. While it remains to be seen whether this project is a precursor to that album, one thing is certain: Madonna's legacy as a dance music icon continues to shine brightly.
