In a heartfelt moment during her Celebration Tour concert, Madonna thanked a significant individual who had a crucial role in her life during a challenging summer. "There are some very important people in this room while I was in the hospital," she announced, her voice filled with gratitude.

She continued to reminisce about the experience, revealing, "A very important woman dragged me to the hospital. I don't even remember her now. I passed out on my bathroom floor and woke up on the intensive care unit."

The pop icon acknowledged the woman's heroic act, stating, "She saved my life."

Madonna further divulged that she had spent 48 hours in an artificial coma and was grateful for the constant support and guidance from her spiritual mentor during that trying period. "The only voice I heard was his," she shared emotionally. "I heard him saying, 'Take my hand.'"

As she awoke, Madonna shared a surreal moment of seeing her six remarkable children by her side, sparking a lighthearted joke about almost not making it through this miraculous reunion.

Madonna Leone, co-parent to Lourdes Leon with Carlos Leon, and Rocco Ritchie with Guy Ritchie, is also a loving mother to four adopted children – David Banda, Mercy James, and twins Stella and Esther.

In June 2023, Madonna's close friend and long-time manager, Guy Oseary, publicly shared that she had been hospitalized due to a severe bacterial infection, causing the tour to be postponed.[1] CNN later reported that Madonna had been released from the hospital and was recovering at home.[2]

Upon her recovery, Madonna resumed the tour in October 2023, expressing gratitude for her fans and the medical team that played a pivotal role in her recovery.[3]
