Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade 2025 dazzles with *Stranger Things* and debut stars
The 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade featured a blend of new and classic floats, along with debut performances from top artists. Just hours after the release of Stranger Things’ final season, the show’s float made its first appearance in the main event. The parade also featured fresh acts like Ciara, Busta Rhymes, and Teyana Taylor alongside beloved cartoon characters from film, TV, and gaming.
The parade kicked off with Cynthia Erivo performing Nina Simone’s Feeling Good. Other first-time performers included Colbie Caillat, Foreigner, Kool & the Gang, and Luísa Sonza. Lil Jon energised the crowd from the Toys”R”Us float, while Busta Rhymes rode the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles float and Ciara appeared on the Colossal Wave of Wonder.
The 2025 parade blended nostalgia with fresh entertainment, from debut artists to new floats like Stranger Things and Labubu. Fans saw a mix of live music, animated characters, and first-time appearances, making this year’s event one of the most varied in recent history.
