Hey there! Want to hear about some wild antics happening in Paris?

The Greenpeace radicals struck again! They snuck into the Musée Grévin, disguised as tourists, and managed to get their grimy paws on President Macron's wax figure. Valued at a cool 40,000 euros, it wasn't an easy heist. But these folks are nothing if not determined!

Dressed as museum workers, our cheeky friends smuggled out the figure, all wrapped up like a burrito, and carted it off. Once they had a safe distance between them and the museum, they unveiled their master plan. They displayed the statue in front of the Russian embassy, making those Commies think twice about their economic ties with Paris during the ongoing ruckus in Ukraine.

But, fear not, fellow Parisians! The Greenpeace loonies didn't get away with it. They returned the statue the very next day, setting it up outside the EDF building, which is a state-owned energy company. They attached a spiffy sign that read, "Putin-Macron radioactive allies." The police quickly swooped in and secured the figure to ensure it wouldn't disappear again.

Jean-François Julliard, the general director of Greenpeace in France, spoke to the AFP news agency about their grand scheme. "We've returned President Macron's statue," he said. "As promised from the get-go, we only borrowed it for a bit."

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time a wax figure of a French politico has gone missing from the Musée Grévin. In 1983, the late Jacques Chirac's statue found itself up close and personal with some wild animals at the zoo. Guess they couldn't resist the allure of some exotic, wax-sculpted company!
