The renovation project is slated for completion in 2025, following which visitors will once again be welcomed to this iconic site.
Moreover, an engaging exhibition titled "Cranach as a guest of Melanchthon" will debut in the Melanchthonhaus from the coming spring. This exhibition will showcase an exquisite collection of treasures from the Cranach workshop, spotlighting portraits of the Reformers, along with their illustrations and the noteworthy Ten Commandments panel.
Preparations are underway for the commemoration of 500 years of the Peasants' War, which is scheduled to commence in 2024 and continue into 2025. On May 31, 2024, the Luther Museums will unveil the special exhibition "1525! Uprising for Justice" in Luther's death house in Eisleben and Luther's childhood home in Mansfeld.
